Bio:
Mr. Dean's history includes forty years of research in the UFO field. He spent twenty-seven years of active duty in the US Army where he retired as Command Sergeant Major after serving as a highly decorated infantry combat veteran. He also served in Intelligence Field Operations and was stationed at Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), the military arm of NATO. His Cosmic Top Secret clearance opened the way for his study of the highly controversial document of which he now speaks. Mr. Dean also spent fourteen years as an emergency services manager with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for the Arizona Pima County Sheriff's Department. He is the former Arizona Assistant Director and Pima County Director for the Mutual UFO Network and is a former member for the UFO studies (CUFOS) and the Ancient Astronauts Society. He also served twelve years as a member of the board of Directors for the Aerial Phenomenon Research Organization (APRO).
Mr. Dean majored in ancient history, psychology, and philosophy at Indiana University, completed extensive studies in archeology and theology and holds the equivalent of a masters level degree in Emergency Management. Richard M. Dolan
Bio:
Richard M. Dolan is the author of the ground-breaking historical series, UFOs and the National Security State, which chronicles the modern UFO age with an emphasis on military encounters and government secrecy. This work has been acclaimed as the finest history of the UFO phenomenon available in any language.
In 2010, he co-authored A.D. After Disclosure: The People's Guide to Life After Contact. Col. Charles Halt
Bio:
Charles Halt was a Lt. Colonel in 1980, he was assigned from the Pentagon to RAF Bentwaters, England as the Deputy Base Commander. At the time Bentwaters was the largest Tactical Fighter Wing in the US Air Force. He was promoted to Colonel and became the Base Commander. Later he was assigned to Kunsan Air Base Korea as the Base Commander. Kunsan at the time was the F-16 base responsible for any major offensive action required on the Korean peninsula. He moved from Kunsan to Florennes, Belgium where he was instrumental in establishing the Cruise Missile Base and active in the successful IMF Treaty with the Soviet Union. His final military assignment was Director, Inspections Directorate for the DOD Inspector General, where he had total inspection oversight of the entire Department of Defense.

The presentation will give an overview of RAF Bentwaters/Woodbridge in the 1980's and lead into the unexplained incidents that occurred in Rendlesham Forest over a period of several nights in late December 1980. LESLIE KEAN
Bio:
Author of the new book, "UFOs: Generals, Pilots and Government Officials Go On the Record", published by the Crown Publishing Group/Random House (www.UFOsOnTheRecord.com). The book includes a foreword by John Podesta and first-person contributions written by highly credible military and government officials from nine countries, including five Generals.
Kean is an independent investigative journalist who has been published nationally and internationally in the Boston Globe, Philadelphia Inquirer, Atlanta-Journal Constitution, Providence Journal, International Herald Tribune, Globe and Mail, Sydney Morning Herald, The Nation, and The Journal for Scientific Exploration, among other publications. She is coauthor of Burma's Revolution of the Spirit: The Struggle for Democratic Freedom and Dignity and was also a producer and on-air host for a daily investigative news program on KPFA radio, a Pacifica station.
Kean began publishing on the UFO subject in 2000, when her feature story about the French COMETA Report appeared in the Boston Globe. In 2002, she co-founded the Coalition for Freedom of Information (CFi), an independent alliance advocating for greater government openness on information about UFOs and for responsible coverage by the media based on a rational and credible approach. As director of the CFi, she began working on the Kecksburg UFO case in 2002, with the cooperation of Stan Gordon. Kean was the plaintiff in a successful, four-year Freedom of Information Act federal lawsuit against NASA, in which the agency was required to release hundreds of documents under court supervision. She and her coalition have launched an ongoing initiative to affect US government policy so that scientists and aviation authorities can gain greater understanding of the still-unexplained UFO phenomenon.
Kean was a producer for the 2009 independent documentary I Know What I Saw directed by James Fox, and is currently working with Break Thru Films, an award-winning film company, on a new feature documentary. She lives in New York.
Lecture: UFOs ON THE RECORD
Leslie Kean will explain the strategic approach she has taken in her new book UFOs, now a New York Times best seller. She and her coalition, some of whom contributed to the book, are advocating for the creation of a small U.S. government office to conduct public UFO investigations. The contrast between the US government approach (or non-approach) to significant UFO events and that of other countries is striking. Kean will present an illustrated comparison of two similar cases and the official response to each: the American Hudson Valley UFO wave of the mid 1980’s, involving primarily boomerang-shaped objects, and the Belgian wave of 1989/90, in which triangular objects were documented. The US handling of the 2006 incident at O’Hare Airport will also be compared to the UK’s response six months later when a dramatic pilot sighting occurred over the Channel Islands. Such examples make a powerful, rational case for a change in government policy, especially when aviation safety is at stake, and the need to establish US involvement in future scientific investigations. Dr. Roger K. Leir, author of the "Aliens and the Scalpel-First and Second Edition", "UFO Crash in Brazil", "Casebook Alien Implants", "Chopped Liver" and three other books published outside the United States, including "Implantes Alienegenas" published in Portuguese in Brazil, and "Ovnis and Implants" published in France by Le Mercure Dauphinois.
It has been said that Dr. Leir is one of the world's most important leaders in physical evidence research involving the field of Ufology. He and his surgical team have performed sixteen surgeries on alleged alien abductees. This resulted in the removal of seventeen separate and distinct objects suspected of being alien implants. These objects have been scientifically investigated by some of the most prestigious laboratories in the world. Their findings have been baffling and some comparisons have been made to Meteorite Samples, combinations of crystalline materials mixed common metals, growth of biological tissue into or out of metallic substances, as well as isotopic ratios not of this world. Paul A. LaViolette
Bio:
Paul A. LaViolette received his BA in physics from Johns Hopkins, his MBA from the University of Chicago, and his Ph.D. in system theory from Portland State. Currently president of the Starburst Foundation, a scientific research institute, he is known for his contributions to physics, astronomy, geology, and electrogravitic field propulsion. Besides his book Decoding the Message of the Pulsars, he has authored four other books—Secrets of Antigravity Propulsion, Subquantum Kinetics, Genesis of the Cosmos, and Earth Under Fire. He first announced his findings on the ETI origin of pulsars at the January 2000 American Astronomical Society meeting in Atlanta. He is the first propose using pulsed, broadband, targeted beacons for ETI communication.
Paul LaViolette is also the originator of the subquantum kinetics, the first unified field theory to predict a connection between electricity and gravitation. His theory promises to allow the engineering spacecraft capable of defying gravity and traveling in excess of the speed of light. He predicted the existence of the Pioneer Effect 18 years before JPL scientists announced the discovery. He is also the first astronomer to disprove the expanding universe theory by showing its inability to fit observational data in a consistent manner. Lecture: Intelligent Communication from the Galaxy
Paul LaViolette will discuss evidence showing that for over 40 years astronomers have been receiving radio communications of extraterrestrial intelligence (ETI) origin mistaking them as natural objects. These interstellar radio-emitting beacons termed pulsars are the most complex ordered signal phenomenon known to astronomy. Paul will show examples of how the sky positions and periods of certain pulsars have been carefully chosen to point out key geometrical relationships such as pi, the phi ratio, the location of the Galactic center, portrayed using the geometric one-radian concept, the location and orientation of the Earth's ecliptic plane, and the locations of the Crab and Vela supernova remnants which are the two remnants that lie closest to our solar system among those having ages <15,000 years. Paul will show how this pulsar subset conveys a message informing about an intense cosmic ray barrage, that was emitted from our Galaxy's core and that passed our solar system around 14,000 years ago. He notes that such a superwave phenomenon, which could recur in the near future, would be a natural topic for ETI communication.
Dr. LaViolette will describe how a technically advanced Galaxy wide civilization has developed the ability to produce these signals by using maser beams to create force fields near the surface of a cosmic ray emitting star. He will explain how these beacons likely constitute a galactic GPS system for interstellar navigation to and from our Galactic sector. He will present examples of some field propulsion technologies that have been under development in the U.S. which have thrust-to-power ratios of up to 300,000 times that of the Space Shuttle main engine and will also discuss a gravity impulse beam technology that could allow superluminal travel to distant star systems.

On January 25 and 26 the prestigious Royal Society in London held a two day discussion meeting about the search for alien life and the implications for the world if it is discovered. The full title of the event was "The detection of extraterrestrial life and the consequences for science and society". Attendees included representatives from NASA, the European Space Agency and the UN Office for Outer Space affairs.
